HighPoint Church has two sister churches in Honduras.
We take teams often to build relationships and do projects to bless the communities of Potrerillos and Choloma. Through these relationships we have been blessed!
Keith Barker, a member of HPC was burdened with a passion. He opened a children’s home to help get kids off the streets and out of over-crowded government run orphanages. For more information, visit his website
Henry Smith, a member of HPC, is also pursuing his passion in the nation of Honduras. He has started a ministry to help raise support for pastors in Honduras, Helping Hands of Christ. His dream is to find churches in the United States to partner with churches in Honduras. This sister church relationship is such a blessing! For more information, visit their website
HPC is always looking for ways to bless the community that we are part of!  Here are some ways that we do that:  Operation Backpack – we collect and provide food on the weekends to students at Janie Howard Wilson Elementary who would probably go without.  Community Kitchen – a team of volunteers cook lunch on the 1st Sunday of every month and serve it to those in need.  Rudolphs Round Up – every Christmas we partner with Heartland for Children to provide Christmas for children in foster care.  Hygiene pantry – the women’s ministry at HPC collects and stocks the hygiene pantry for Lake Wales High School.
