HighPoint is a church based in Lake Wales, Florida created and engaged to serve the community by expressing Christ’s love through various words, deeds, and actions.
Regardless of who you are or where you’ve been in life, you’re welcome at HighPoint Church. We welcome each new member as family, and we want to make sure that you get the most out of your time with us.
HighPoint Church is a non-denominational group of believer’s in Jesus Christ. We are learning, working, and growing together and attempting to build friendship and a family of faith with one another, while being a real blessing to our community and our world.
Our desire is to LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE
501 Burns Ave.  Lake Wales, FL

HighPoint Church has two sister churches in Honduras.
We take teams often to build relationships and do projects to bless the communities of Potrerillos and Choloma. Through these relationships we have been blessed!
Keith Barker, a member of HPC was burdened with a passion. He opened a children’s home to help get kids off the streets and out of over-crowded government run orphanages. For more information, visit his website
Henry Smith, a member of HPC, is also pursuing his passion in the nation of Honduras. He has started a ministry to help raise support for pastors in Honduras, Helping Hands of Christ. His dream is to find churches in the United States to partner with churches in Honduras. This sister church relationship is such a blessing! For more information, visit their website
HPC is always looking for ways to bless the community that we are part of!  Here are some ways that we do that:
Operation Backpack – we collect and provide food on the weekends to needy students at Janie Howard Wilson Elementary.  Rudolph’s Round Up – During the  Christmas season we partner with Heartland for Children to provide Christmas for  children in foster care.
JHW Elementary Mission Group A group that is committed to helping a local elementary school with projects and outreach throughout the school year.
Hygiene Pantry – The women’s ministry at HPC collects and stocks the hygiene pantry for Lake Wales High School.
Our small groups are intended to provide a unique way for church goers to connect with each other, outside the Sunday service. You cannot possibly get connected or meet all the new people on a Sunday, as our service is just too big. That is why we encourage everyone to get involved in a small group ministry.  You’ll develop  deep friendships and learn to do life together with other believers.
LET’S TALK ABOUT IT – This group focuses on building relationships by sharing a meal, conversation and life together while discussing the current sermon topic.  This group has two meeting options, one is led by Marcus Kirby and meets at 1133 Ward Loop Road in Babson Park.  The second group meets at 2743 Lake Pierce Drive and is led by Bonnie Moritz. For more info, contact Marcus at
