The Lord invites us to pray to Him no matter the environment or who is around us. When we submit to calling on the Lord, in all sincerity and reverence, He will answer. It is a Promise, a fulfilling Scripture through Christ our Lord. God is with us, where our feet are at. Prayer is the solution to finding out the great things He wants to show us. We come to Him with confidence trusting in His teachings. It is totally based on our Faith in His CONSISTENCY as He builds our precious relationship knowing He continues to SPEAK. The personal prayer life behind closed doors is vital as well as joined with brothers and sisters. Prayer is a living, loving form of communication between us and our Master Designer as He refines us by fire.
Praise Him 🙌🏼
By being obedient in my own prayer life, I have found it is not all complicated. The Lord has shown me a great way to pray through His Word. Throughout the Old and New Testaments, we find instances of God’s people praying the Word by quoting Scripture in their prayers. I can unashamedly admit that I draw blanks when reciting Scripture; however, God has given me His Peace to read from His Good Book. The leading of the Holy Spirit brought me to a deeper level in my prayer life. God instructed me to start a prayer group which He named Praise on the Battleground. By allowing the Power of God to flow by praying His Word as we read through the Bible, the Holy Spirit leads us to a rich variety of issues in scriptural proportion. Also, cleanses our hearts and brings to the surface what we need to confess. Only God can do that! There is no one like You, LORD, and there is no God but You!
***Another use of praying Scripture is to expand our methods for praising God. By personalizing a passage, we can make almost any passage of Biblical adoration our own***
